The RoleTalent Acquisition plays a vital role at TasTAFE and our team aims to consult deeply and add real value to the hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Our small (but mighty) Talent Team is led by a passion to identify, attract and engage top talent as we source the very best for our learners, industry and community.

Reporting to the Senior Talent Partner, this key role will oversee a portfolio of both teaching and non-teaching vacancies and be actively involved in the full end-to-end recruitment processes (this is so much more than a transactional role).

What will you bringThe term 'candidate care' should be forefront in your mind. You will be a strong advocate for ensuring your candidates are communicated with in a timely and respectful manner because you truly understand the value of maintaining positive relationships with top talent.
At TasTAFE, it is not unusual to find yourself spoilt by choice with hundreds of applications for our more popular administration vacancies (which is never a bad problem to have as a recruiter). On the flip side of this, in your tool kit, you will need to back your ability to head hunt and use proactive talent acquisition strategies as you search for candidates to fill our more niche teaching roles. You will leave no stone unturned as you search for the next plumbing, electrical or horticulture teacher who is going to impact the next generation of learners at TasTAFE.
