Based in our Melbourne office on Queens Road, you won't just be behind a desk – you'll be out on our projects, meeting hiring managers, taking role briefs, and gaining firsthand insight into the resourcing of our projects.
We are looking for someone who has proven experience recruiting the full scope of construction roles from graduates to project personnel to pre-contracts – including estimators, and our corporate roles.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design and deliver creative recruitment strategies that attract the best talent in the industry. End-to-end recruitment management – from advertising and screening to interview management and offer negotiations. Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, understanding their specific needs to deliver tailored recruitment solutions. Develop and maintain talent pools for upcoming projects, ensuring we always have a pipeline of high-calibre candidates. Deliver a seamless candidate experience, making sure that every candidate feels valued and respected throughout the process regardless of the outcome. Leverage your knowledge of internal mobility within projects and interstate transfers to ensure that our workforce can adapt and move between roles and locations as needed. What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in Talent Acquisition ideally within civil engineering, construction, utilities or heavy industry. A strong understanding of internal mobility within the construction industry and the logistics of interstate transfers between projects. A natural communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build lasting relationships. Experience with online recruitment platforms like PageUp and a solid grasp of employee relations legislation. A sense of urgency, and awareness of time to fill requirements without compromising quality of service to our stakeholders. A genuine desire to ensure all candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. An organised, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A current Driver's License and your own transport, as this role involves visiting project sites. Why Join Us?
