Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview: We in Foot Locker are looking for a Talent Acquisition superstar who can hit the ground running on a three months fixed term contract. The best part is you will be awarded a contract completion bonus besides a very attractive pay. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead the Recruitment across the Asia Pacific region. This involves recruiting, interviewing, and screening responsibilities, closely partnering with the HR team and Hiring Managers. They will source potential candidates through various channels (e.g. iCIMS, social media and professional platforms), and manage interview and selection practices based on a consistent set of qualifications.
Responsibilities: Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs (prioritization where required determined by Senior Director, HR).
Resources internal and external networks to source qualified candidates; source external candidates through various means such as: hiring portal, networking events & job fairs, colleges, social media, and internet sites.
Determines applicant requirements by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses to system generated individual assessments, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with hiring managers.
Supports the onboarding of new hires.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recruitment/HR experience.
Superior communication and influencing skills and ability to collaborate at all levels across the region.
