As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal, and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in the Hatch Brisbane office, working as part of our internal Talent Acquisition team, within the broader Human Resources team in the Australia – Asia region. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead for Australia-Asia, this is a full-time, permanent role. We are a friendly, inclusive, and collaborative HR team. In this important role, you will be contributing to our success through your recruitment and relationship building experience and skills, efficiency, and genuine passion for supporting your internal clients. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to further their experience and career in recruitment.
As the successful candidate, some of your responsibilities will include:
Source talent for the region undertaking full cycle recruitment activities for a diverse range of business units.
Manage the graduate and annual student (vacation) recruitment programs for the region.
Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, brand awareness, and strategic external partnerships, including attending various external events (e.g. careers fairs).
Engage regularly with stakeholders including hiring managers and HR Advisors to review hiring needs and recruiting activities across the region.
Recruiting or HR experience, ideally with experience in engineering or consulting. Experience with graduate recruitment programs and/or managing bulk recruitment activities is highly desirable. Strong administrative skills and experience with recruitment and/or HRIS systems are essential. This role will best suit someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment, where adaptability and the ability to handle ambiguity are key. You are client-focused and value high-quality customer service, with solid influencing skills and demonstrate reliability and accountability. Your excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong relationships will be instrumental to succeeding in this role.
