Within our small team, you will have the opportunity to work on:End-to-end volume/bulk recruitment of recruits – 'recruits' are entry level employees commencing their training at the AFP College, before embarking on a career in:AFP National PolicingACT PolicingOr as a Protective Service Officer (PSO)Recruitment of experienced Police Officers from other states/territoriesCoordination of internal promotional rounds for our emerging Police and PSO leadersWhat will you do?As a member of our team, you would contribute to the recruitment of hundreds of new Police and PSOs each year.
Our work is both challenging and highly rewarding, and it contributes to the AFP's mission of keeping Australia and Australians safe.Your duties would include:Administering the recruitment process using our in-house applicant tracking system (SAP SuccessFactors)Providing candidate care and engagement, supporting candidates through the recruitment process, including via our inbox and candidate care hotlineCoordinating and assessing at assessment centres and interviews, often in locations around the countryContributing to improvements in our policies, our applicant tracking system, our processes and work flows, and our assessment/selection practicesLiaising with a variety of internal stakeholdersAttending career fairs and information sessions as a positive and informative brand ambassadorWorking closely with colleagues in Marketing, as well as operational members in the business, on large national advertising campaignsEssential RequirementsYou must be an Australian Citizen at the time of applicationA Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain oneContemporary experience in a Recruitment/HR environmentStrong customer service and communication skillsStrong administrative/organisational skills, including confidence with the Microsoft Office suiteDesirable RequirementsExperience in any combination of the following is desirable:High-volume / bulk recruitment, e.g.
graduate or other entry-level recruitmentContemporary Assessment Centre experienceCompleted study and/or qualifications in Human ResourcesExperience including:Applicant tracking system / recruitment database administrationAssessments and interviews, both conducting and designingAdministering online assessments / psychometric testingStrong Excel skillsExperience or interest in emergency services or national security industries, e.g.
