Ongoing career development in a great team environment Be part of a future-focused, dynamic, and customer-owned bank Permanent, part-time role with flexible working arrangements About the role To support the People team to deliver on our aspirations to attract high quality talent, we are looking for a passionate professional with a keen interest in talent acquisition.
As the Talent Acquisition Officer, you will support the end-to-end recruitment process, including role briefing, drafting position descriptions, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Partnering with the business will also see you support our internal talent programs including secondments and transfers, as we support career advancement and internal opportunities.
This is a permanent part-time role, up to 30 hours per week based at our head office in Albury, NSW with flexible working arrangements, such as Working from Home available.
What you can expect Contribution to the development of best practice recruitment and selection techniques and processes Supporting managers in all aspects of end-to-end recruitment, including briefing, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting Oversee the development and update of all Position Descriptions for new and existing positions Coordinate recruitment administration including the posting of advertisements to job boards, acknowledging and advising candidates, and monitoring general applications Support the administration process of compliance checks, new starter processes and induction planning About you To be successful in the role, you will have:
A relevant qualification or previous experience in generalist HR/recruitment or a similar role Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment best practice, including talent attraction, interviewing methods and candidate assessment A passion for recruitment and supporting talent into new career opportunities with an employer of choice Excellent time management and organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task various roles at any given time Strong accountability for the ownership and delivery of activities, with the ability to make sound decisions in an informed manner Ability to build rapport and quickly develop professional relationships and maintain strong networks About Us At Hume Bank we've always believed the future is bright. Our process Once the role is closed, we review all applications against the requirements, creating a shortlist for further review. If your application is successful, you may receive an initial screening call to further assess your suitability, before being invited to an interview. We conduct two rounds of interviews, with the first interview being held with the supervisor and a member of our People Team. You may be invited back to a shorter second-round interview with the head of the department. The final stage is to complete some quick compliance checks, before (hopefully) receiving an offer.
