The Role This role reports to the Talent Acquisition and Pathways Manager and sits in our Employee Experience Team who lead the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and engagement of our workforce. The position will play a key role in ensuring the recruitment process is correctly administered and coordinated so the Talent Acquisition team can support hiring across all our business groups.
Some of the activities you'll work on include:
Partnering with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide guidance on effective recruitment strategies.Oversee, organise and conduct selection processes including phone screening, interviews and other relevant candidate assessments.Manage the end-to-end candidate journey to ensure a positive experience is achieved.Co-ordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and provide feedback on candidate suitability.Conduct reference and background checks on selected candidates, including facilitation of pre-employment screening such as medicals.What we're looking for We think there are transferable skills that can lead to success in this role so even if you don't think you meet all the criteria, we still want you to apply. The below experience will be helpful:
Exposure to end-to-end recruiting processes that include resume review, phone screening, interviews, and reference checking (we use Referoo).Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.The ability to give candidates a positive and humanistic experience, by nurturing them through a recruitment process.Experience in using an ATS, CRM, or HR system (LinkedIn Recruiter is a bonus).High level of accuracy with your administration skills to support booking interviews in multiple diaries, posting job ads, calculating salary information, and preparing offer letters.Why TasWater Across our multi-disciplinary organisation, we are serious about enhancing the skills and careers of our team members. The Details This role can be based in either Hobart, Devonport or Launceston and attracts a salary of $85,000 - $89,000 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
