About our Client:
Our client is Australia's second-longest running airline, flying for over 40 years to over 20 destinations across Australia and Timor-Leste. Our client is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Coordinator!
About the Role & Responsibilities:
In consultation with the General Manager, develop and implement the organization's recruitment, retention, and onboarding strategy. Conduct recruitment and onboarding functions. Provide advice, service, and support to best align candidates' capabilities with a positive recruitment and onboarding experience. Partner with management to manage the full recruitment cycle from agreeing the brief with managers, placing adverts, candidate screening and administration, reference and background checks, salary, and contract negotiations. Proactively headhunt with the ability to identify key strategic recruitment activities to achieve business outcomes. Build relationships and coach managers on recruitment principles and compliance requirements. Provide timely reports to hiring managers regarding status relating to all positions. Ability to work cross-functionally, perform under tight deadlines, problem solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Partner with management to implement an effective onboarding experience for all new hires, working with hiring managers to ensure they receive any needed support. Coordinate onboarding and induction activities. Build employee networks to drive engagement. Implement retention strategy in conjunction with retention data by conducting and analysing exit interviews. Participate in, on an annual basis, complete employee performance appraisals, including assessing, discussing, and facilitating staff training requirements. Assess, identify, communicate, and manage departmental hazards or health and safety issues. To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
Demonstrated experience in a recruitment role with a sound knowledge of HR practices. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant field. Ability to build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships. Creating candidate sourcing strategies and developing talent pipelines. High degree of initiative and attention to detail, work independently, accurately, meet deadlines, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated practical experience using the Microsoft Suite of products including Excel and Word. Desirable: a certificate or qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related business discipline. Benefits:
