About the CompanyThis leading global heavy mechanical engineering, services and contracting business operates throughout Australia. They perform an integral role in the development of Australian infrastructure projects across mining and resources, transport and power markets.About the ProjectSnowy 2.0 is the next generation of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, and construction of this major pumped hydro project is well underway. Once complete, the Scheme will provide 2000 megawatts of dispatchable, on-demand renewable power and approximately 350,000 megawatt hours of large-scale energy storage to the Australian National Electricity Market.About the RoleTo meet the requirements for the Snowy Hydro 2.0 project, our client requires a Recruitment/HR Consultant to join the team in Smithfield, responsible for all aspects of the recruitment and on-boarding process for local SH 2.0 project team members. This is a unique opportunity for a Recruiter or HR Coordinator to take part in an exciting Australian project, on a fixed term basis with opportunity for extension or permanent basis.Parking onsite at Smithfield officeGain exposure to and work with German head officeAd-hoc travel to the beautiful Snowy Mountains/Cooma regionKey ResponsibilitiesArrange and coordinate recruitment, selection and engagement of SH 2.0 local project team membersLiaise with external recruitment agenciesReview applications and undertake initial phone screen interviews of applicants to establish fit to roleArrange in person/virtual interviews with local team members, German colleagues and candidatesUndertake related administrative tasks including advising unsuccessful applicants, establishing and maintaining recruitment records and statisticsArrange referee reports and related reference checks including security checks on recommended applicants where appropriateCoordinate job offers to successful applicants and arrange induction and onboardingAssist with International Assignments (e.g., Visa requirements and applications) for overseas employeesTravel to Cooma from time to time for project updates/meetings, etc.About YouThis will be a high volume and varied role with heavy administration and coordination tasks, so we're looking for someone with a can-do attitude that's happy to take on anything!Three years or more experience in Human Resource management functionsAbility to negotiate and communicate well to all levels of employees and managementMaintain sound working relationships with Employees, Management, Agencies and SuppliersHow to ApplyPlease submit your CV in a Word format by following the application link.#J-18808-Ljbffr
