Randstad is currently working with a company that designs, develops, and manufactures state-of-the-art active phased radar systems. This company has a longstanding partnership with Defence and undertakes research and development activity into all aspects of active electronically scanned array technologies that are critical to many Defence capabilities.Their Talent Acquisition team now has an opening for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor initially on a casual contract basis with a view to a permanent role early 2025.About the RoleManage end-to-end recruitment processes, from developing job descriptions to conducting interviews and facilitating selection.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand recruitment needs and deliver tailored solutions.Identify and implement strategies to enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure recruitment practices adhere to relevant policies and legislation.Utilise sourcing methodologies to access the best candidates in the market, including talent pipelining and use of strategic sourcing initiatives to identify hard-to-find talent.About youSignificant recruiting and direct sourcing experience for roles at varying levels (ideally in technical & engineering skill sets).Excellent communication, influencing, and partnering skills; confidence with senior business leaders and other stakeholders; and credible experience in acting as a trusted advisor.Strong candidate management skills, ensuring optimal positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.Excellent time management and prioritising skills, with proven capacity to meet deadlines.Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a changing environment.Proficient using online job boards such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, and others.Familiarity with CRM platforms.For this position, it is essential that you have a Defence Baseline Security Clearance in place!If you're successful, you'll join a collaborative team of highly experienced and talented professionals.
