About the Role The Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a crucial role in the recruitment process, ensuring that Viva Leisure is able to attract, recruit and onboard the best talent to meet the diverse needs of our business.
This role is a member of a supportive team of passionate People and Culture professionals.
It is responsible for working in partnership with colleagues and hiring managers to understand and define current and future talent needs, design attraction strategies, and execute recruitment campaigns.
Success in this role relies on strong interpersonal skills, an ability to understand business needs and candidate expectations, being highly organised, and data-driven.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with hiring managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective solutions and recruitment strategies.Manage recruitment: Manage and streamline the recruitment process, from requirements definition to sourcing candidates, ad placement, and screening.Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies: Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract top talent and streamline the hiring process.Undertake candidate screening: Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the job requirements.
Make shortlist recommendations.Monitor data and report: Track and analyse recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment activities.
Use insights to inform continuous improvement and refinements.Provide training: Including advice and development to hiring managers on recruitment practices and interview/assessment techniques, supporting the quality of hiring practices.Ensure compliance: All recruitment activities must comply with employment standards, fairness, inclusivity, merit and relevant Viva Leisure company policies.Drive Viva's EVP: Work with stakeholders to define Viva's employee value proposition (EVP), ensuring this is consistently applied to attraction, recruitment and retention activities.What We're Looking For HR practitioner: Experience in HR, and/or recruitment/talent acquisition.Strong communicator: Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.Organised and efficient: Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment where no 2 days are the same.Analytical: Ability to analyse and streamline processes, data and recruitment metrics, and optimise system solutions to support the candidate experience.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and other People and Culture team members.Passion for fitness: A genuine interest in the fitness industry and a commitment to our company mission to promote a healthy lifestyle.YOUR LIFE AT VIVA - PERKS AND BENEFITS As an employer of choice, Viva prides itself on supporting you in the best way possible by providing a range of incentives that meet the everyday needs of our people.
