YOUR ROLE Based from our Truganina VIC head offices, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our internal talent acquisition team.
The role will coordinate our labour hire casual conversion process, prepare and process all new hire employment contracts and related onboarding requirements, as well as providing general administrative support to the team (80% of role).
You'll also assist with resume screening, conducting preliminary phone interviews and proactive sourcing for key roles (20% of role).
Additionally, the role will facilitate scheduling interviews and manage pre-hire checks to ensure a smooth hiring process.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Specifically, you will: Support recruitment by facilitating pre-hire checks, preparing, issuing, and processing new hire employment contracts and related documentation Coordinate new hire onboarding, equipment, access, HR induction, and prepare physical welcome packs Process all Talent Acquisition and wider HR team invoices and support other general administrative activities Evaluate resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates that meet the specific requirements of various roles within the organisation Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, availability and interest level, providing a shortlist of promising candidates to recruiters for further evaluation Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to schedule interviews, ensuring all parties are informed of the timing and format of the interviews Facilitate background checks and other pre-employment screening processes to verify candidate qualifications and suitability for employment Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and candidate records in CEVA HR systems, ensuring compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate has recruitment and/or administrative experience gained in an internal human resources function and/or external recruitment agency together with: Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g.
Success Factors, Work Day) and Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and internal teams High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling candidate information and following up on various stages of the recruitment process.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
