Systems Support Analyst | NSW State Government$65 - $75 per hour + Super | 40 hours per weekNSW State Government | Work Anywhere in NSWASAP Start | Estimated 4 month assignment, with potential to extend About the Company Our large NSW Government Department client is responsible for effective and sustainable planning and development of industry to support the growth and environment in the NSW Community.

About the Role They are currently seeking a Systems Support Analyst to join their team working from anywhere in NSW attending the local office + opportunity to work a few days per week remotely from home.
This is an estimated 4 month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.
As the Systems Support Analyst, you will be required to review current software applications and assess each application's functionality, purpose, and security.
You will also provide recommendations for upgrades, replacements or decommissioning to ensure systems are efficient and effective.
Additionally, you will be required to develop, create and implement forms and processes within Jira Service Management for handling future software application and change requests, ensuring they follow a structured approval process before being integrated into the ICT program of work.

Responsibilities Review and scrutinise existing software applications' purpose, performance, security, and information provided.Gather and collate information, generate reports to support informed decision-making outcomes relating to upgrades, replacement or decommissioning.Provide recommendations for application optimisation, enhancement or decommissioning.Develop and configure forms and workflows in Jira Service Management to manage new software application and change requests.Ensure forms are structured and capture all data and tracking of each request, facilitating a smooth approval process.Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements. About You Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing deadlines.Solid technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Process and detail oriented, with a high attention to detail.Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite, Atlassian, Jira Service Management. Requirements Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent field.Demonstrated Systems Support experience.Proven experience in creating processes, documents, and workflow development.Experience in reviewing a line of business applications.Willingness to complete a National Police Check.Ability to commence immediately and commit to the duration of the assignment.
