The Client: Leading Technology Solutions provider using the latest big data and machine learning technologies to solve complex cyber security challenges for their valued clients. Due to rapid growth, they are looking to expand into new capabilities to revolutionise their products.
Role: Lead and be responsible and accountable for the cradle to grave engineering works of major projects including architecture, design, development, deployment, and testing.
Plan, design, integrate, test, deploy and maintain multiple systems to ensure the delivery of the end solutions. Work and consult with Principal Engineers and Solution Architects on achieving efficient and effective solutions for each customer. Be responsible for scopes of work and managing internal and customer facing design. Produce and manage Internal and External Interface Control Documentation (ICDs). Produce and manage customer facing project documentation (CDRLs). Design and develop solutions making specific determinations about system performance. Conduct system analysis and development, with limited support, to keep systems current with changing technologies. Analyse system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications. Be responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problems. Be responsible for selection of project materials including procurement, vendor validation and product acceptance and configuration. This is a Hybrid working environment: 3 days in office / 2 days WFH.
Ideally, you will have: At least 8+ years of Systems Project Engineering experience, ideally leading/mentoring a team. Proven experience in Linux / Red Hat environments. Experience in DOORS will be highly regarded. Excellent stakeholder management skills. MUST be an Australian Citizen and eligible for an AGSVA Security Clearance. Sound like you?
