About the Role As a Systems Manager in our Advice System team, you are responsible for the core system used by the Advice business, Advice Plus, a Salesforce based solution.
You will play a crucial role in translating the strategic vision set in the roadmap into an achievable and prioritised release schedule.
The Systems Manager is responsible for managing the product backlog, defining detailed requirements, and overseeing product releases.
By focusing on the execution of product features and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform, the Systems Manager will drive successful product delivery and enhance the value provided to the Advice business.
Role Location: open to Melbourne or Sydney Role Type: 12 Month Secondment, Full time (40 hours/week) What will your day look like?
As a System Manager, you are accountable for: Ongoing management of Advice Plus, our Salesforce Financial Services Cloud CRM.
Plan and manage product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
Coordinate release schedules, manage deployment processes, and oversee quality assurance to ensure successful launches.
Create, maintain, and prioritise the product backlog to ensure alignment with the product roadmap and strategic objectives.
Conduct reviews and testing to validate that new features and enhancements meet acceptance criteria and quality standards before release.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that code and configurations meet the required standards and deliver the intended functionality.
Address and resolve any issues or bugs identified during testing to ensure a smooth user experience.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for product features, requirements, and release notes.
Perform hands-on development tasks and customisations where needed to support product features and system enhancements.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following: Deep understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and its functionalities, and understanding of the Salesforce tech stack.
Familiarity with financial services industry regulations and compliance requirements, particularly in Financial Advice.
Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Proficiency in managing product releases, including planning, scheduling, and quality assurance.
Hands-on development skills in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Effective leadership and team management skills for overseeing a delivery squad including SMEs, developers, and business analysts.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
