We currently have a position available for a Systems Engineering Manager to be based in Sydney, NSW. This is a key position on the team for a major project(s), as well as leading a team of engineers delivering a cutting-edge training solution to defence. This role will see you heavily involved in mentoring and leading but also the mapping requirements and facilitating the SEMP while delivering solutions.
This is a key role in the organisation tasked with delivering capability to the ADF.
The Role:Elicit / refine / document requirementsLead and mentor a teamReview work tasks by technical staffFacilitating teams on all systems engineering tasksContribute to the development and implementation of a variety of plansIdentify project and product risks and escalate using defined processesInitiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channelsExperience Required:Tertiary qualifications in a related disciplineManage information systemsCASG acquisition or sustainment projectsA traceable record in managing integrated teamsExperienced in Defence Systems Engineering (Land)Strong integration and development knowledge of C2 productsExperienced in Project Management methodologiesTRAMM-L knowledgeStrong communication skills both written and oralMust have a current AGSVA-issued Security Clearance (NV1)Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience with Systems Engineering and Systems Safety tools and knowledge of Systems Engineering Standards and is required to have qualifications in Engineering/Science and previous experience working with large complex systems.
Candidates will have a good level of experience in leadership and CASG acquisition or sustainment projects with a developed knowledge of TRAMM-L in a C4i/C2 environment.
