We at NEC are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in the Northern Territory on a permanent basis to maintain and monitor business infrastructure and systems.
You will bring with you relevant domain System Engineering experience, along with high levels of communication and interpersonal skills as well as a proactive approach.
Responsibilities include Resolving assigned Incidents/Requests on-site or remotely Identifying technology improvements with comprehensive analysis, assist in the detailed solution design and follow through to completion of implementation Adhering to and develop Processes/Procedures, standard Tool's usage practices and Design Documents Maintaining a high level of customer service When required, perform activities after hours and participate in the on-call roster Skills & Experience Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Skype for Business, VMware suite, Microsoft System Centre suite (SCCM and SCOM) and various other software applications Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience designing, implementing and/or administering infrastructure platform solutions using VMware vSphere.
Understanding IT Service Management concepts Designing, implementing and/or administering storage solutions using SAN technologies.
Working with complex networking solutions on physical and/or virtualised platforms.
