In this role, you'll: Join a client side rail organisation in providing technical leadership, engineering support and services on systems assets. Ensure the overall integrated system solution meets business needs and is delivered with engineering due diligence in a timely manner. Perform Engineering design activities for Operational Technology Cyber Infrastructure including servers, storage, network and application platforms. Contribute to stakeholder expectation definition and management activities and translating them into system technical requirements. Ensure the computing and storage infrastructure complies with Sydney Trains' Cybersecurity policies and standards. This is a temporary full time role until 09/05/2025.
About you Ideally, you will come from a background in transport, defence, aviation, oil & gas or other heavy industries and have the following skill sets:
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Information Security discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience. Experience working with Hypervisor and Virtualization technologies. Knowledge of networking concepts. Knowledge of cyber security products and solutions. Knowledge of providing engineering assurance and recommendations covering both technical and non-technical aspects (e.g. commercial, contracts, maintenance) of the systems. Strong oral/written communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed technical specifications/documents and communicate those to both technical and non-technical audiences.
