We use Systems Engineering and Modelling, Simulation and Analysis to help our clients define, analyse, decide, optimise, and deliver technology-intensive projects in complex environments across Defence, Space, Transport, Infrastructure and Energy.
How will you contribute? You will apply systems engineering, high-level design, and analytical approaches to technology-intensive projects.
Specifically, you will have the opportunity to apply Model-Based Systems Engineering to support the definition, design and analysis of:
Weapon SystemsOperational scenarios and engagementsYour background? Experience, or interest, in applying Model Based Systems EngineeringKnowledge of Systems Engineering principles and approachesDemonstrated experience in managing and liaising with stakeholdersExperience working within a Defence environmentEssential Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification that would be accepted in Australia under the Washington Accord.Be eligible for, or be on a development pathway to achieve Professional Engineer accreditation with Engineers Australia (EA), i.e.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent as recognised by EA.Engineering know-how, supplemented by experience, to undertake project technical work across:multiple technical competency areas for systems engineering as set out by ISO 15288;multiple phases of a systems engineering lifecycle.Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team and can successfully liaise with other engineering specialists and paraprofessionals.With appropriate supervision, can lead and manage small Shoal projects, and support the management of larger Shoal projects.Can successfully engage with clients and work effectively within client teams.Special requirements: Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level.
International export control regulations are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
