Systems Analyst (Junior Accountant)

We at Chandler Macleod are seeking a Systems Analyst who will primarily work as a Junior Accountant with added data analysis responsibilities. In this role, you'll handle tasks such as processing accounts payable/receivable, performing data entry, assisting with bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports, tracking budgets, and supporting the accounting team with administrative tasks. You'll also engage in basic data analysis to support financial accuracy and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Processing transactions: Handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparing invoices.Data entry: Entering financial data into accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Bank reconciliations: Assisting with reconciling bank statements with general ledger balances.Financial reporting: Assisting in preparing financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.Budget tracking: Monitoring and reporting on expenses against budgets.Administrative tasks: Supporting the accounting team with filing, answering queries, and organising documentation.Basic data analyst tasks.Required Skills/Experience:Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. Bachelors or master's in accounting.3+ months of accounting experience.If this sounds like you hit "Apply" now!Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
