It's data and research with impact you can see.In this role, you'll:Be working as a Safe Systems Analyst (Safer People) within a high performing team that delivers programs and maintains policies and frameworks targeted towards behavioural road safety.Reporting to the Safe Systems Manager (Safer People), this role is responsible for providing research and analysis on a range of issues associated with road user and community attitudes and behaviours towards road safety to inform policy development and other initiatives designed to influence and change driver behaviour and improve road safety.This dynamic role requires someone who can respond quickly to challenges that may arise managing large-scale projects and programs such as the Driver Licensing Access Program and the Mandatory Alcohol Interlock Program.About YouYou will leverage your tertiary qualifications in research or behavioural science, public policy or relevant, equivalent professional experience to deliver the goals of the 2026 Road Safety Action Plan and contribute to road safety outcomes within Transport for NSW.You will be passionate about road safety and be driven by contributing to the goals of Transport for NSW.You will have experience with analysis, carrying out/and or applying research and the development of behavioural change programs.You are comfortable with managing large-scale programs and projects with the ability to manage your own time effectively.You're recognised for your strong interpersonal, communication and highly developed writing skills as collaboration with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders is critical.You are someone who enjoys working within a strong culture of inclusivity where your unique contribution is valued and recognised.This is a unique opportunity to join the dedicated Safer People team whose commitment and expertise has contributed to developing programs, policies and frameworks aimed at discouraging unsafe road use such as speeding, drink and drug driving, driver fatigue, seat belt and helmet non-use, driver distraction.You will be provided with opportunities to engage in continual improvement processes for the program and projects managed within the Safer People team.
