About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join a dynamic program team responsible for delivering a whole-of-government information-sharing environment. This program enables real-time criminal intelligence and information access across state, territory, and federal jurisdictions.
As a Systems Analyst, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across various government agencies, contributing to complex systems analysis tasks. You will play a key role in improving business functions and developing systems analysis artefacts, working in a highly collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities Develop systems analysis artefacts to support business decision-makingExamine business problems and determine requirements for new or enhanced information systemsParticipate in Program Increment Planning, daily standups, and sprint reportingProvide expert advice on systems analysis methods, tools, and processesBuild and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersManage and mentor other Systems Analysts within the teamCreate system requirements, technical documents, and source-to-target mappingRepresent the work area at relevant meetings and forumsUndertake interstate travel as requiredMust have: Demonstrated experience in systems and business analysis, particularly in Agile environmentsStrong technical problem-solving skillsExperience in writing detailed technical documents (system specifications/user stories)Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with senior stakeholdersDesirable Criteria Experience with Elastic, Kibana, Hbase, Hadoop, or NifiExperience with SQL, data mapping, and ETL projectsExperience working in National Intelligence, National Security, Defence, or Policing sectorsTertiary ICT qualifications or equivalent experienceTo be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Brice Laravoire on 02 6151 9214 or email ****** and quote the above job reference number.
