Rubix Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst with extensive experience in Cyber Vulnerability Management to join a critical Federal Government project. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the organization's vulnerability management capability, including developing processes and implementing technologies to identify, assess, and address cyber vulnerabilities.
Key Details: Position: Systems Analyst (Cyber Vulnerability Management) Work Location: Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne (Minimum 3 days on-site per week) Clearance Required: NV1 minimum Contract Duration: 24 months (with potential extension) Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of cyber vulnerability management processes and supporting technologies. Design, evaluate, and propose modifications to existing ICT systems, or develop new systems to meet user requirements. Compile and present system requirements for vulnerability management. Establish the strategic direction for vulnerability management and monitor system risks, developing mitigation strategies. Drive application innovation and development efforts, staying informed about competitive landscapes. Prepare and review technical and corporate documentation. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes. Foster staff development through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning. Encourage innovation and continuous improvement, managing change and exercising delegation in accordance with relevant guidelines. Mandatory Criteria: Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in system requirements preparation for ICT projects within the Federal Government. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in system analysis and design. Weighted Criteria: Experience in system analysis within large-scale ICT projects for the Federal Government, with a focus on vulnerability management . Proven experience with vulnerability management systems , providing recommendations to enhance cyber maturity, particularly regarding the Essential 8 strategies. Strong understanding of industry standards, including ISM , Essential 8 , PSPF , and NIST . Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and external agencies.
