Due to a system upgrade and implementation, my client is looking for an Finance Systems expert to support them with the implementation of their automated AP function.
Position Overview: Role: Project Manager - Medius AP Automation Implementation Duration: 6 months Location: Balcatta (parking available) Remuneration: negotiable, based on qualifications and experience Reports to: Executive Director Corporate Services Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the project plan, including goals, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with teams and vendors, and manage stakeholder communication and expectations.
Gather and document system requirements, and oversee system configuration and customization.
Conduct testing to ensure system functionality, and resolve any issues.
Develop and deliver training, manage change, and ensure data migration and integration.
Oversee the go-live process, provide post-implementation support, and gather user feedback.
Maintain project documentation and progress reports, and manage risks throughout the project.
Retrain site admins and managers on the new procure-to-pay process, with a focus on PO creation and invoice referencing.
Set up punch-out catalogs for P&L GL coding.
Ensure correct requisition approvals for PO invoices.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Extensive experience with procure-to-pay automation system implementation.
Strong project management skills with a proven track record in process improvements.
Experience managing an AP function within a purchase order environment is highly desirable.
Background as a Business Analyst, particularly with system implementations and integrations, is preferred.
