Our team is also backed by Leidos' global expertise, experience and capabilities.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems.
Interacting daily with end users, both physically and virtually, your duties will include:setting up administrator and service accounts and maintaining system documentationtuning system performanceinstalling system wide softwareallocate mass storage spacesupport and maintain an extensive server platform & related applications,utilise enterprise-wide monitoring platformsidentify problems in the infrastructure environment and action them accordinglywork with the respective business technology groups to administer, support and manage existing infrastructure deployments and functionsparticipating in agile sprints, providing user representation during testingsupport Change Management activities and the transition of solutions into production and operational usedevelop plans, procedures, work instructions, manuals and other technical documentation for use by personnelliaise with other teams through delivery and escalation processes of the team's tasksplan, monitor and report on progress of activities within your team's assigned work packagesPlease be aware that this role will require some on-call/weekend work on occasion with core hours (three rolling shifts) between 0600-1800hrs.QualificationsEssentialWorking experience in server, desktop and active directory administration and support in a medium-to-large scale environment.
Preferably in the public or defence sector.
A comparable amount of experience of administering a multi-domain/Active Directory user environment over a wide area TCP/IP networkWindows Active Directory and other related technologies such as DHCP, DNS, etc.
Networking, Storage and Backup experienceDesirableSolid understanding of modern server hardware concepts with knowledgeExperience SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint OnlineExperience with customers and webpage designITIL Foundation v3 certifiedSharePoint Power User experienceAbout You And What You'll BringInquisitive attitude, and willing to ask if there is a better way of operatingSelf-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and positive outcomesProven strong collaboration skills andan ability to work proactively with technical staff, management,end users and other stakeholders to ensure that value is delivered to end users in a timely mannerPlease note the successful candidate will be an Australian Citizenwith an NV2 or higher Security Clearance.Additional InformationAt Leidos, you'll enjoy 12 weeks' paid parental leave as a primary carer, flexible work practices, discounted health insurance, novated leasing and more.
