The role An exciting opportunity is now available in DevelopmentWA's Information and Communications Technology Infrastructure team on a full-time ongoing basis.
As the Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, reporting, availability and security of the ICT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include: Administers technology infrastructure components, either on premise or cloud, including the administration of infrastructure systems and software Support and maintain essential IT operations Ensure consistency, integrity and security of operating environment Capacity planning, monitoring and upgrades of ICT systems and hardware Manage data storage and backups Manage ICT Software Management Suite Server and user administration and security tasks About you To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
Qualifications in computer or an information systems related discipline. Knowledge of Microsoft solutions including but not limited to M365 Defender, M365 Teams, M365 Exchange Admin, Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of Virtual environments (VMware) and fabric attached storage would also be an advantage. Substantial knowledge and experience in administering all aspects of a Windows network environment is critical for this position.
Proficient skills in administering server-side technology and networked computing systems. Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills including a commitment to providing a high level of customer service. Demonstrated ability, knowledge and experience of either of the following key capabilities is desirable:
Expertise in specific areas of technology, techniques, methods and products (SFIA Skill: TECH: Level 4); and systems installation/decommissioning (SFIA Skill: HSIN Level 4) Extensive knowledge and proven skills in the operation and control of the IT infrastructure (SFIA Skill: ITOP Level 3); processing and coordinating appropriate and timely responses to incident and service requests (SFIA Skill: USUP: Level 3); and providing operational security management and services (SFIA Skill: SCAD: Level 3) Knowledge and experience in providing network maintenance and support services (SFIA Skill: NTAS: Level 2) What we offer Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work An organisation that is committed to sustainability, including a transition to net zero carbon emissions Brand new office fit-out in Mia Yellagonga Tower 2 (BDO building) with beautiful views of Kings Park Study Assistance and professional development opportunities End-of-trip facilities An active social club and paid volunteering opportunities An agile and progressive workplace culture built on our core values of Brilliance, Alliance, Courage and Integrity Are you ready to help shape our state's future?
