Your responsibilities will include: Support the deployment, configuration, and management of virtual and physical servers and desktops Maintain application packages through patching of applications, operating systems, in accordance with ISM and Corporate Information Policy and best practice Provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support for Program students and users, Program Partners, other Training Program activities such as classroom and simulator activities, mission planning and content learnings systems and remote deployments Work to ensure that events, incidents, and problems are resolved, ensuring uptime and optimum performance Participate and assist in business continuity/disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing About you: You will have completed tertiary qualifications from an accredited institution in a related discipline (typically Information Technology), and/or equivalent experience/combined education.
Relevant industry certifications (i.e.
MCTS / VCP etc.)
will also be highly regarded.
Experience & competencies - essential.
Some experience in windows Server administration Some experience with Windows desktop support Some experience with troubleshooting technical issues within ICT environments Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
