The opportunity Our Finance team is seeking a Finance Systems Administrator to be a key player in supporting our firm-wide practice management system. The Finance Systems team is comprised of 4 people responsible for support and maintenance of the practice management system, reporting and workflow system (Ivanti). In this role, you might see the following come across your desk:
Assist in the planning, maintenance, upgrades and support of the Firm's financial system, Aderant Expert.Use application and technical experience with Aderant Expert products and financial systems, including working knowledge of technical architecture, to provide support for the application, data structure, data tables, data transformation, screen development, report writing, SQL data queries, Generic Importer, Ivanti workflow, data synchronisation and financial systems-related incidents and service requests.Extend functionality of finance applications using APIs, SSIS and database development and develop solutions to facilitate integration between applications.Provide support for Business Intelligence tools; generate custom reports using SSRS, Power BI, data visualisation and transformation, Excel and power query.Work with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement within the Firm's financial applications and independently propose and execute improvement solutions. Implement solutions, change requests and enhancements via Aderant Expert customisations tools and Ivanti workflow tools.Maintain detailed records, documenting procedures and assumptions, methodologies and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks and customisations.Work to ensure quality professional product, as well as timely delivery of all work.Working knowledge of accounting principles, systems, practices, controls and procedures.Ideally, you might have Excellent SQL skills, ability to write stored procedures, database maintenance.Ideally some experience with REST API, XML, HTML, Power BI, Power Tools, Workflow applications, SSRS reporting.Experience with Aderant Expert framework and excellent understanding of the table structure (Elite experience also advantageous).Great verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently to research, analyse and resolve complex problems using creative solutions.How to apply To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter via the 'Apply' link.
