About the role We are currently seeking a experienced Systems Administrator ( 12 Months Maternity Cover) to join Select Plant Australiain Sydney. As aSystems Administrator is responsible to drive strategic alignment and optimal functionality of business systems within Select Plant Australia. Lead projects, recommend enhancements, and ensure seamless integration with business strategy. Oversee change management, engage with vendors, and support teams in system utilisation. Coordinate major system enhancements, manage testing, and report progress to Select management.
The applicant must have experience with COINS construction software, with experience in the plant control module preferred. Key responsibilities Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (COINS) system for Select Plant Australia. Ensure Select Plant Australia teams are supported in their use of business systems: Troubleshooting issues, Root cause analysis of issues, Engaging Select Plant Australia stakeholders and Laing O'Rourke Information Technology for issue resolution, and Training for new and existing users, including business unit level user management. Test and deploy minor enhancements that resolve identified issues within existing business applications. Participate in projects and initiatives pertaining to the business systems within Select Plant Australia, ensuring such activities are completed in accordance with defined policies, procedures and quality benchmarks. Participate in major systems enhancements between Laing O'Rourke Information Technology Function and internal stakeholders including, but not limited to the following tasks: Supporting Select management with business and process impact assessment Provide recommendations for business process changes where required Manage user acceptance testing Co-ordinate and communicate system downtime and no-change windows where required. Report on project progress, including risks, to Select management Support other business systems as required. skills & Abilities Strong troubleshooting skills for system-related issues. Proficiency in root cause analysis of system problems. Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and IT teams. Testing and deployment of minor enhancements for existing business applications. Coordination of major system enhancements, including user acceptance testing. Ability to align business systems with the overall business strategy. The applicant must have experience with COINS construction software, with experience in the plant control module preferred.
