The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Accountant to join our Perth Finance team. This is a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Systems Accountant to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage, maintain, and improve our Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) system. The ideal candidate will integrate IT systems with financial operations and reporting to enhance efficiency and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, they will develop and maintain positive working relationships with all colleagues and clients, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
Key Responsibilities
System Upgrades:
Facilitate periodic updates and upgrades to Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring compliance with the latest accounting standards and technological advancements.
System Integration:
Integrate financial data from various sources and systems to provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting in collaboration with finance team and business stakeholders.
Data Integrity:
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by implementing and maintaining robust data validation and reconciliation processes.
Audit Support:
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and system access and addressing any audit findings.
What You Will Need
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of financial software Dynamics 365 F&O, ERP systems, Power BI, and accounting principles.
Communication:
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
