You will be joining a team that specializes in providing affordable flight options to our customers through partnerships with flight search engines such as Google Flights, Skyscanner & Kayak. We are in an exciting growth period and are looking to attract team members who are passionate about their own growth and expanding the reach of the brand globally.
This role offers considerable flexibility, with a mixture of work from home/work from the office hours available. Our Gold Coast office is centrally located in Broadbeach.
What you'll do Finance Process Creation and ImprovementConsult with the finance team and various stakeholders to identify and analyse pain pointsContinuously identify and execute value-add projects.Provide actionable ideas to build or refine finance processes.Design and execute plans to enhance efficiency, streamline operations and reduce costs.Optimize reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance.Manage and improve the integrity of data used to perform reconciliations.Educate and provide ongoing support to process usersOversees the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements.Establishes procedures that affect multiple disciplinesEnsure established and updated processes are in compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes.Business projectsFinance Lead within our project team, ensuring delivery of requirements and expectations.Developing and managing project plansManaging all aspects of projects execution, in alignment with approved project plans and strategic business goals.Your skills and qualifications 4+ years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar. 2+ years' experience in Automation projectsAdvanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, preferably familiar with Power Query EditorSQL or Python experience preferable, but not required.Ability to problem solve, critically analyse data, and articulate potential solutionsDemonstrated experience in challenging existing processes and behavioursContinuous improvement mindset and the drive to enhance the end-to-end processStrong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels.Proven teamwork skills.High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and fast paced environmentsWhat you'll enjoy Work within a fast-paced, progressive, and innovative teamEmployee Share Scheme through EquatePlusReceive ongoing training and professional development through the Flight Centre LandingPreference for internal progression through Brightness of Future: Employees have the right to see a clear pathway to achieving career ambitionsGlobal career opportunities in a network of brands and businesses at your fingertips Proud Corporate Social Responsibility platform through the Flight Centre Foundation, and Brighter Futures programsOpportunity to attend global awards events, including Global Gathering (Bali 2023 and Lisbon 2024) Various social events to promote networking, the celebration of wins, and sometimes just for fun! We value you Flight Centre Travel Group is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace that supports your unique identity to create better, safer experiences for everyone.
