We provide genuine work life balance with options to suit everyone.  Your responsibilities will include: Lockheed Martin (LM) is contracted to the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG). As part of Engineering Support Contract (ESC), LM provides support on the Jindalee Over the Horizon RADAR Network (JORN). The System Support Lead provides engineering services to the ESC project in the domains of Hardware Engineering, RF engineering/test and support to the CoA V&V activities of the JORN Phase 6 project as well as R&D activities of the DSTG NSID HF Branch. In this role you will: Execute the CoA S&T Verification and Validation tasks as prioritised by the CoA Ph6 Project and/or NSID representatives. Support the CoA V&V lead on required priority activities in line with planning, development and execution of CoA V&V activities delegated from CoA V&V lead. Undertake specific tasking related to V&V and R&D activities as derived from the ESC steering group. Support the responsible CoA Lead for the JORN V&V program, ensuring the Commonwealth satisfies its contractual obligations and the AIR2025-6 Mission and Support System design inadequately verified to meet functional and performance requirements. Support the responsible CoA Lead for the planning, organisation, and conduct of T&E for AIR2025-6. Support the responsible CoA Lead in defining TSB required for TSI's required in relation to CoA AVV and IVV activities delegated to ESC. Execute tasks in an Agile manner, using Scrum or Kan-Ban methodologies. Support additional ESC activities with greater emphasis on Software development: e.g. rapid application development, frontend (HMI) and back-end work, as applicable. About you: To be successful in securing this position, you will have demonstrated skills and experience within the below areas: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Computer Systems Engineering etc.) and/or equivalent relevant experience (within the defence industry) Excellent knowledge of JORN and understanding or its future capabilities Experience managing engineering change within the Defence industry Demonstrated expert understanding of engineering methods, design and development Product lifecycle management Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with the customer Special Requirements: Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
