About the roleWe have an opportunity for a System Support Administrator (Windows, M365, Virtualisation) to be part of our TIN - Systems Operations, Technology Command & Communication Services Command.
The system support administrator provides technical support for the day-to-day operations of the organisations ICT systems This temporary opportunity on offer is for a customer-focused, and experienced System Support Administrator who will work as part of a team responsible for the operation, administration, and monitoring of the NSW Police Force physical and virtual Infrastructure.
Your role collaborates with internal IT stakeholders within network security, storage, network operations, cyber security, and business application teams.
You will be part of the Systems Administrator BAU team with experience in configuring, managing, monitoring, and supporting critical Infrastructure.
Have experience with M365 products, virtualisation technologies, participate in backup and disaster recovery tests and document procedures.
Participate in team rotated on call Roster for 24/7 Support.
The successful candidate will operate with best practice, have a good understanding of networks and firewalls, good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows Server 2016+ and Windows 10+), virtualisation technology experience (vmware preferred), sound knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Azure AD, understanding of cloud and hybrid environments.
You will have the willingness to learn and a passion for continuous improvement and skills uplift.
