POSITION OVERVIEW The business has commenced a major project globally to roll out a new ERP solution (Workday Financials and HCM platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM) for our ~500 employees, following a period of rapid growth.
This role will be responsible for supporting and managing the implementation of the project, reporting directly into the global Head of Finance (project owner) and working closely with our implementation partner (Cognizant). In addition to the management of the program, the role will support the Executive Steering Committee with process enhancements of our existing finance, human resource, CRM and business processes. The System Implementation Project Manager will work closely with our external implementation partners and our internal team to deliver the solution.
The role will require someone who is collaborative, detail-oriented and with a passion for systems and process improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES Program Management: Managing both the Workday and Microsoft CRM streams of the program, working with various stakeholders across finance, technology and the business.Functional Leadership: working with both internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate and guide the functional design of the applications.Solution Design and Configuration: Oversee the functional design of the Workday and Microsoft systems, ensuring it aligns with accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and the specific financial needs of the organisation.Testing & Validation: Functional lead on developing test plans (UAT) to ensure accurate functionality and data integrity.Data Management: Managing the data migration focusing on existing data across legacy systems and providing guidance on which data should be migrated to the new systems.Stakeholder Engagement: determine and facilitate an appropriate training and change management plan for seamless user adoption.Post-Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support to optimize system performance post-launch.This is a role which will allow an individual to put their project and business partnering skills to the test in a positive and dynamic environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE You will be an individual with strong system project management skills and experience in leading a program of works within a dynamic organisationYou will preferably have knowledge of the Workday and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM products (or similar applications)Demonstrate the highest levels of communication and non-technical stakeholder engagement and management and be able to present written and visual communications to senior leadershipExperience in liaising with business stakeholders and external consultancies at various levels and understand what their requirements are and how to translate them into a system that meets strategic and commercial outcomesStrong teamwork skills with the ability to work with othersQUALIFICATIONS Appropriate higher education preferably within business systems, analysis & project managementWHY PMY?
