System Engineer - Scada/Ot

The purpose of this role is to support, maintain, and build the Operational Technology (OT) systems in the business.
You'll be responsible for the operations and maintenance of Operational Technology systems for our clients' environment.
Support and implementation of appropriate SCADA systems to allow for control and supervision purposes.Operational compliance monitoring (including response to dispatch instructions) is in place, with non-compliance alarmed and performance reported on monthly.Market trading, bidding and forecasting systems are maintained and available based on requirements from the Market Operations team.As the OT Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of technology in the renewable energy sector.
You'll develop a strong understanding of our clients' technology stack, support network maintenance and security, and deliver critical support for operational technology services such as SCADA and market systems.
Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our assets are efficiently controlled and supervised, while maintaining compliance with real-time electricity market instructions.
We're looking for a tech-savvy professional with experience in IaaS and SaaS solutions, preferably with knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure.
Your proficiency in networking, security implementation, and a strong understanding of SCADA platforms and systems will be invaluable.
A graduate degree in a relevant discipline is required, along with a full driver's license and white card for site visits.
