In this pivotal role, you will be essential to the Epiroc Performance Centre, bringing together a variety of contributors and perspectives to achieve common goals. As a global leader in sustainable mining and construction solutions, we empower our team to drive change and deliver exceptional results.Key Responsibilities:Review and analyze problem statements from internal and external customers.Perform Root Cause Analyses and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (DFMEA).Design and deliver tailored engineering solutions for our Epiroc machines in the Australian market.Generate validation plans and test criteria to ensure top-notch performance.Organize prototyping efforts and oversee field trials, ensuring local relevance and effectiveness.Create and maintain detailed drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and hydraulic/electrical schematics.Develop clear work instructions in collaboration with our Technical Documentation Team.Provide engineering support to internal teams, including Product Support and Marketing/Sales.Liaise with customers to keep them informed on project statuses and timelines.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within our engineering processes.What We're Looking For:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Relevant mechanical design engineering experience, ideally with Epiroc mining equipment.Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (CREO preferred) and PLM systems (Teamcenter and Windchill preferred).Experience with Finite Element Analyses (FEA), including input specification and result interpretation.Solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical system design and integration.Strong project and team management experience.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.A commitment to providing outstanding customer solutions and the ability to thrive under pressure.Strong report writing and communication skills.What we offer:Unlimited career opportunitiesFree onsite parkingPaid parental leave for primary and non-primary carersAbove NES long service leaveYears of service recognition awardsTraining and mentorship opportunitiesReady to make your mark?
