Closing date: 18/11/2024 ABOUT THE ROLE Responsible for the assessment and processing of system changes, process documentation of test outcomes and the E2E system proposals for the effective delivery of business systems to ensure that changes drive improvement, efficiency, and performance. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES What you will be doing: Provide technical support for a resolution of system change proposals to assist the broader business to achieve strategic and operational objectives.Work through system change proposals, including operational impact assessment, problem solving and recommendations for system changes.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate details and requirements and influence decision making regarding approval.Coordinate user acceptance testing of system changes, including the development of user acceptance plans and compile reports of test outcomes.Participate in all Change Management governance meetings and perform reviews on change requests prior to submission to CAB (Change Advisory Board).Develop and distribute system change release documentation, including system release notes, communications and work instructions to impacted users.Engage and monitor the vendor for the delivery of system changes, ensuring all deliverables meet the agreed acceptance criteria.Comply with the Code of Conduct and all operational policies, procedures, governance frameworks and guidelines in place across the organisation. SELECTION CRITERIA The ideal candidate must have: Demonstrated high standard of written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence and interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels.Proven skills in administration, including writing and documenting work instructions, release notes, test plans and reports.High level adaptability, flexibility and resilience including the ability to manage pressure and change.Strong understanding of business processes and compliance obligations across a broad range of functional areas.Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, commercial and customer service acumen, strong organisation and analytical skills, and proven capability to deliver results.Commitment to providing a high standard of customer service and operating within the Jacana Energy values of Honesty, Innovation, Teamwork, Diversity and Employee Wellbeing. You may also have: Previous experience as an ICT Change Analyst within a Northern Territory Government environment.Experience and demonstrated capability in the specification and assessment of business needs relating to the retail operating system.
