GEGAC is seeking a suitably qualified IT person to be responsible for the efficient administration and day-to-day maintenance of the GEGAC ICT systems including servers, workstations, network hardware, security and access systems, and IP phone systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that GEGAC ICT infrastructure meets all compliance standards as required by relevant legislative and regulatory bodies.
The suitable applicant will have at least 5 years' experience in a system administration role at a similar organisation.
Experience in the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable.

The System & Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the GEGAC ICT infrastructure meets all compliance standards as required by relevant legislative and regulatory bodies.
Key Selection Criteria Technical Knowledge and Skills Required experience and skills: High level Microsoft Windows Server administration skillsHigh level Office365 and Microsoft365 knowledge and experience with AzureThorough knowledge and practical experience in key networking and systems concepts (e.g. DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Spanning Tree)Proven Virtualisation experience (VMWare)SOE development and software deployment methods (e.g. System Center Configuration Manager)WiFi and WAN systems (e.g. Unifi and Cambium)Enterprise backup solutions (e.g. Veeam)Mobile device management experience.Experience in Layer 3 networking and firewalls and a good understanding of IP and network topology.Desirable experience and skills: Storage administrationUbiquiti network hardware knowledgeDBMS administration and some SQLVOIP phone systemsPersonal Attributes The preferred candidate will possess the following personal attributes:
