System Analysts (Multiple) Systems Analyst: Business Process Analysis: Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements for ICT system enhancements or new solutions.
Document and translate these needs into system designs.
Solution Implementation: Assist in the creation, development, and deployment of ICT solutions, ensuring they align with user stories and functional requirements.
Operational Support: Monitor the performance of ICT systems, identify potential issues, and collaborate with relevant teams to implement timely resolutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct various testing activities, including coverage reviews, test execution, and defect management, ensuring solutions meet business and system requirements.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and update solution documents, technical specifications, and reports for review by senior staff.
Prepare formal correspondence related to system changes.
Senior Systems Analyst: Advanced System Design & Analysis: Lead the analysis of complex business processes and translate them into detailed technical and functional specifications.
Develop advanced ICT solution designs tailored to meet business requirements.
Solution Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of system enhancements, from concept through to deployment, managing ongoing system improvements and performance monitoring.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a point of contact between business users, development teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project delivery.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior analysts, perform peer reviews of system designs, and mentor team members.
Facilitate knowledge sharing to improve team performance.
Testing & Issue Resolution: Coordinate and manage detailed testing activities, ensuring thorough evaluation of solutions.
Address issues through timely escalation and propose alternative solutions.
Solution Design Manager: Strategic Leadership & Oversight: Take ownership of the planning and delivery of ICT solutions that support the business's strategic objectives.
Manage competing priorities while ensuring the delivery of high-quality systems.
Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor a team of systems analysts, overseeing performance, resource allocation, and workflow management.
Foster staff development through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges and implement ICT solutions.
Manage relationships with other agencies and service providers to enhance service delivery.
Project & Resource Management: Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Manage financials, contracts, and procurement activities within the area of responsibility.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Drive innovation in system design and implementation.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for process enhancement and encouraging new ideas.
Work Arrangements: The work is to be performed at the Buyer's premises in: Adelaide / Brisbane / Canberra.
Working from home arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis in the provision of these services.
