This includes all servers, desktops, Cloud, and virtualization technologies with a particular focus on Cloud and Virtual Servers across SG Fleet ICT landscape.
The incumbent is also required to participate in project work, to support Systems Architects and Engineers, in the delivery of new computer equipment and software.
The role has a strong communication focus requiring constant interaction with many parties starting with the SG Fleet User community.
The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Support SG Fleet's end user computing platform via Windows 10/11 Laptops, virtual machines and Azure Virtual Desktop.
Administer and support SG Fleet virtualization platforms.
This includes VMware ESXi, Vcenter and Nutanix Hypervisor and components.
Provide level 2 support for Microsoft technologies associated with servers, Active Directory domain services, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365, and Exchange online.
Provide level 2 support from incidents supporting internal and externally managed LeasePlan systems.
Administer desktop, laptops and telephony environments including running, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting requirements Adopt Automation and Infrastructure as Code whenever possible to streamline and optimise Infrastructure workload Contribute to a culture of great customer service and continuous improvement by engaging and communicating regularly with stakeholders, and proactively identify and recommend improvement initiatives.
Essential Previous experience in a similar Information Technology role In-depth knowledge of infrastructure systems such as Nutanix Hypervisor and VMware ESXi version 7 and 8, Vcenter, Microsoft Server technologies Windows 2008 - 2022, Microsoft Active Directory (AD, DNS, DHCP), Azure Cloud administration and support, Patching System with MS Intune and Manage Engine End Point Central, Server administration – Lenovo SR and Hyperconverged, Trend Micro suite and Barracuda web filtering Desirable Genesys Pure Cloud/Connect and support.
Microsoft Teams Administration Linux administration (Ubuntu and Redhat).
Infrastructure as Code and Automation (PowerShell, Python and Terraform).
