The Role: Cognizant is seeking a L2 System Administrator to provide technical support for Linux and Windows users.
Oversee virtualization technologies including VMware and Hyper-V for Linux and Windows VMs.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: Manage general administration tasks such as performance troubleshooting; setting up a backup and recovery regime; network configuration and connectivity.Administer Group Policy objects.Facilitate, support, and maintain internal and external facing DNS.Provide configuration management for forest, domain, and organizational unit design recommendations and implementation, time synchronization, and global catalog server management.Support Active Directory.Raise, review, implement, and close RFC related to Server Management.Contribute to the PMO team in formulating the dashboards for monthly and quarterly reports.Manage web services.Provide guidance, standards, and recommendations to the team.Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks.Work with the presales team to review technical solutions.Demonstrate strong analytical and technical skillset.Design/Provision Azure/AWS Infrastructure.Define standards and processes for Azure/AWS provisioning.Leverage automation scripts and manage script changes.Manage, build, and maintain systems (VMs) on Azure/AWS.To apply for this role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: Support Active Directory.Raise, review, implement, and close RFC related to Server Management.Contribute to the PMO team in formulating the dashboards for monthly and quarterly reports.Manage web services.Provide guidance, standards, and recommendations to the team.Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks.Demonstrate strong analytical and technical skillset.You'll receive an excellent salary and benefits package for your knowledge, expertise, and flexibility.
