This role is crucial in assisting with the delivery of key elements of the Data Management & Analysis Platform (DMAP).
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with team members and contractors to deploy infrastructure, operating systems, and applications, including using infrastructure-as-Code approaches.Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, technical design workshops, and other relevant meetings.Provide updates on task progress through GitLab tickets.Understand requirements and ensure technical work meets these needs.Communicate constructively with colleagues, product owners, internal clients, and managers.Work effectively in a small team environment.Transfer knowledge and skills to other team members.Maintain records and files in accordance with organizational requirements.Mandatory Requirements:Linux administration (e.g. Ubuntu, RHEL)Containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)Automation tooling (e.g. Ansible)Virtualisation Technologies (VMware, vSphere)Storage Hardware Technologies (e.g NAS, JBOD, VSAN.
