System Accountant

About the Role:Are you an experienced System Accountant looking to bridge the gap between Finance and IT? Method have partnered with a growing business based in Richmond to recruit a Management & Systems Accountant focused on improving operational efficiency and integrity of the financial environment. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising Microsoft Business Suite Responsibilities:Functional Support: Manage Microsoft Dynamics NAV modules and ensure seamless system operations.Data Management: Coordinate and maintain master data including Supplier, Customer, Item, and Location masters.Financial Processes: Assist with month-end activities, annual budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Sales & Inventory: Support sales and inventory projections and cashflow modeling.Project Coordination: Act as the financial representative for data/systems projects, coordinating new system implementations and integrations.Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders, documenting business requirements for system enhancements.Compliance: Ensure activities align with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and group policies.What You Bring:Education: Commerce or Business degree with relevant Accounting & Finance majors.Experience: Proven experience in Systems AccountingTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, especially Dynamics NAV and Power BI.Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.Proactivity: Ability to meet tight deadlines, show initiative, and be should you apply?Be part of a dynamic team where technology meets finance.
