About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Recruitment Coordinator to support our growing team in sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding top talent in the construction and electrical industries.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying workforce needs, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
You will work closely with project managers, employees, and subcontractors to maintain a smooth HR operation, from recruitment to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities Workforce Analysis & Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to assess current workforce requirements and identify manpower shortages for various projects.Project Recruitment Strategy: For each new project, identify staffing requirements and initiate the recruitment process in alignment with project timelines.
This includes the recruitment of specific skills for each project phase, ensuring a skilled and compliant workforce is in place from the outset.Job Descriptions & Postings: Prepare and update detailed job descriptions.
Post job openings on various platforms to attract the best talent.Candidate Sourcing: Actively source candidates through online job boards, social media platforms, and industry networks.Conduct Interviews: Screen, interview, and assess potential candidates.
Manage the end-to-end interview process.Onboarding Process: Facilitate the entire onboarding process, including system registrations on the Pegasus portal, DEW, and other relevant electrical authority registrations.Pre-Employment Checks: Ensure completion of all necessary pre-employment checks, including reference checks, background screenings, and work eligibility verifications.HRIS & Documentation Management: Manage and maintain HRIS software, employee records, certifications, and training documentation.Policy & Procedure Monitoring: Monitor and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Provide support in developing and updating company policies.Employee Relations: Support employees by addressing grievances and resolving workplace issues promptly and professionally.Subcontractor Recruitment: Source and onboard subcontractors for various projects, ensuring they meet the specific needs and regulatory requirements of each project.Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in the human resources industry.At least 1 year of experience in recruitment for the construction industry.Experience recruiting skilled electrical workers is essential.In-depth knowledge of electrical worker training programs and certifications.Familiarity with the Pegasus portal for employee onboarding and management.Knowledge of electrical awards and authorization procedures for new employees.A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).A valid driver's license is required.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
