Job Description:
A leading consultancy firm, recognised for its exceptional performance and unconventional approach, seeks a seasoned professional to join its dynamic team. With a stellar reputation for excellence across diverse delivery streams, we pride ourselves on going beyond the obvious to address the core requirements of our clients effectively.
We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is a critical thinker, values user experience, and possesses the ability to optimize client processes and operations. As part of our team, you will engage in a variety of activities, including eliciting requirements for new or modified processes, fostering ongoing client relationships, and selecting appropriate business analysis methods and tools.
Responsibilities:

Work independently or collaboratively within a multi-skilled team to elicit requirements for new or changed processes. Cultivate enduring relationships with clients. Choose, adopt, and adapt suitable business analysis methods, tools, and techniques. Identify relevant stakeholders and craft key messages for their engagement. Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops. Uncover requirements that clients may not have considered. Consider non-functional requirements, including technical and security constraints of government agencies. Ensure findings align with the clients strategic direction, business architecture, and design standards. Research solution options, including feasibility, cost, and time to implement. Identify and manage risks associated with the projects. Oversee the delivery of solutions from inception to completion. Plan approaches to assignments, report progress, and track developments. Actively participate as a mentor and contributor to the consultancy's Business Analysis Community of Practice. Influence the continuous improvement of the Business Analysis Capability.
Qualifications:
5 years or more of experience in a business analysis role, involving requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business processes. Strong critical thinking skills and a versatile approach to problem-solving. High attention to detail and a commitment to the quality of work. Excellent written and communication skills. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change. Sound judgment for prioritising work and involving other expertise when necessary. Experience in Agile ways of working. Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with business process modelling tools.
Special Conditions: The consultancy frequently engages with clients with high-security, privacy, and confidentiality needs. As such, candidates must be Australian citizens, preferably holding an existing Baseline or NV1 security clearance.
