As consultant - staff specialist - psychiatrist Your responsibilities will include: Providing safe, evidence based treatment.
Supervision of care by relevant staff.
Telepsychiatry Management of inpatients.
Within a multidisciplinary team setting, provide first class services to patients, families and carers.
Initiate and participate in quality improvement activities.
Take part in internal training and education of medical colleagues.
Selection criteria FRANZCP or equivalent gained in NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, South Africa.
Strong experience in child and adolescent psychiatry with an emphasis on inpatient settings.
Experience in leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team context.
High level communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching and education.
Commitment to your own professional development.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and clinical excellence.
Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.
