Switchboard Operator / Phone Receptionist Our client, The Mould Doctor (), is a privately owned company that provide mould remediation services in Victoria and New South Wales. They have highly trained technicians, and they follow IICRC world standards for mould remediation. Due to growth, we are on the hunt for a Switchboard Operator / Phone Receptionist to join their team based in McKinnon for an immediate start! The Role The Switchboard Operator / Phone Receptionist will be responsible for the phone reception and efficiently managing all incoming calls to ensure effective communication within the business. Answer all incoming calls, provide pertinent information, and direct them to the relevant department (quotes, scheduling, technicians) Handle a large volume of calls through Avaya switchboard with average of 100 calls per day Take detailed messages and relay to the relevant team members Provide excellent customer service and adhere to all organisational protocols and policies related to phone communications Data entry tasks as required The Successful Candidate Experience in a busy switchboard/phone reception role is highly preferred Able to handle simultaneous calls and multiple priorities at once Experience using Avaya J100 Cloud System is a great advantage Have a friendly and professional phone manner, with outstanding communication skills Computer proficiency Able to work well within a team environment If you are a proactive and personable individual with excellent communication skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
