Swimming Pool Technician

An experienced Swimming Pool Technician is required within a close knit team in Coffs Harbour.Position Purpose:To provide assistance and install, calibrate, troubleshoot and service equipment, systems and hardware.Main Tasks:Use a logical approach to solve technical problems.Inspect products for conformity and quality in line with established standards.Maintain reports and records.Work collaboratively with other technicians, technical employees, and customers.Install swimming pool or spa pool equipment.Apply routine diagnostic procedures.Identify and resolve routine malfunctions such as water leaks.Conduct preventative maintenance and repair services.Clean swimming pools and spas as required.Test swimming pool or spa pool water.Add the necessary chemicals to pool or spa pool water.Assist in-store for customer liaison, water testing, spa sales, chemical and equipment sales.The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.Other Duties:Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.Required Qualities:Professional approach.Ability to work under pressure.Organisational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail.Desired Competencies:Analytical thinking.Initiative.Tenacity.Strategic thinking.Positive approach to change.Wages: Negotiable dependent on experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hourExpected Hours: 38 per weekSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Swimming Pool Technician: 1 year (Required)Licence/Certification:Driver Licence (Required)Forklift Licence (Preferred)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In person
