This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to manage a vibrant program in a purpose built facility, working within a supportive and industry leading organisation.About Rackley Swimming & City Venue Management:City Venue Management is a facility management company operating Aquatic Centres & Health Clubs from the Gold Coast through to the Sunshine Coast, as far West as Toowoomba and also in New South Wales. We currently operate 38 sites across Queensland and New South Wales, as we continue to grow and develop with each passing day. We are committed to helping every team member to be their best self by investing in their development and rewarding their commitment.About the Role:The Swim School Manager will oversee the daily operations of the entire facility, including program delivery, team management, providing excellent customer service, and overseeing financial matters. Key responsibilities include:Program Management: Oversee the delivery of high-quality swim lessons for all age groups and skill levels, from babies to squad-ready swimmers.Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of swim instructors to ensure consistency in teaching quality and a positive learning environment.Community Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with the staff, community, parents, and children.Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community; providing exceptional customer service.Business Development: Actively seek opportunities to expand swim school offerings, promote swim teaching services, and seek new opportunities.Financial Management: Manage the swim school's budget, track key performance indicators, and report financial results to management.Facility Management: Ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. This includes overseeing maintenance and scheduling.Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including child safety regulations.About You:You'll be integral to fostering a vibrant, can-do culture, consistent with CVM's Purpose, Truths and Leadership Fundamentals. We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with:Passion for working with children in a fun and engaging environment.Proven experience in swim school management (ideally with experience working with diverse age groups).Excellent customer service and communication skills.Strong team leadership, management and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership, communication, and skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.Essential Qualifications:Swim Teaching Qualification (essential).Current First Aid, CPR, and Pool Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or ability to obtain one prior to commencing employment.Our Culture: A Place to ThriveAt City Venue Management (CVM), our success hinges on our people.
