About the Project The Swifts Creek Future Project is part of the Forestry Transition Program, designed to support communities as their economies transition and they seek to foster new industries. The Local Development Strategy works with the whole community to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and a sustainable future for the region.
About the Role As our Swifts Creek Future Project Support Officer, you'll help to ensure the effective delivery of the project by providing essential project and administrative support. Working closely with the Project Manager, your role will involve coordinating meetings, supporting communications, managing stakeholder engagement, and maintaining project budgets. You'll play an important role in shaping a bright future for the community.
This part-time position, working 15.6 hours per week, offers flexibility in the spread of hours across the week.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate project meetings and manage stakeholder engagement.Support project communications and maintain project budgets.Provide administrative support to the Project Manager.Minimum Requirements Relevant business or management qualification or a minimum of two years prior small business administration experience.Excellent understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook software, and demonstrated ability to adapt to new software applications.Excellent administration skills and experience, including well-developed written communication skills.Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.Ability to contribute to and work within a team environment.If successful, you will need to undertake a police check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
